Group Classes

Our small group classes are designed so that you can work out five days a week and get a different class each day.  There’s a class for everyone, come find yours.  Our Pilates classes offer community, energy, motivation, experience and great fitness results. 

MEMBERSHIPS 

The classes are popular and therefore; most clients are on a term membership.  A term membership has it’s benefits including the option to be pre-booked into classes ahead of the schedule release.  To enquire about becoming a member please email jennifernurse@icloud.com.

Pilates Flow 

Our most popular class! This class is ideal for anyone and everyone; the Pilates enthusiast that wants a consistent full body experience. You will creatively flow from the Reformer to the springboard utilizing various pieces of equipment, ensuring you never take the same class twice.   It’s traditional Pilates with a contemporary Twist.  Offered in levels 1, 2 and 3.

Yogalattes

Stretching never felt so good! This class involves light movements to re-center and balance your body.   The apparatus assists in stretching the body while strengthening and lengthening the muscles that support the joints.  A regular stretch routine will help reduce soreness and muscle fatigue, improve performance, decrease risk of injury, and increase blood flow to your muscles.

Barlattes

Not your average barre class.  Sculpt and tone your legs and glutes as you learn to use the barre in a whole new way.  Strengthen your entire body from your feet up.  Taking your Pilates moves to the barre is guaranteed to increase balance, stability, and control in ways that will enhance your everyday life.  Working against gravity while standing creates a dynamic challenge that makes the Pilates method applicable to daily life.

Restore

The Pilates Massage! This class uses techniques in trigger point therapy to repairs tight muscles through foam rolling and myofascial release.  It reduces cellulite and muscle soreness.  It is beneficial for sports enthusiasts that would like to continue with their training without a rest day.    

Class Levels

Unlike open level classes of other studios, all of our classes are customized for specific skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

These levels allow a natural progression, ensuring that a client is ready to advance to the next class level. After a level assessment, the teacher will determine whether a client is ready to move up to the next level.

Level 1
Beginner Class

Ideal for beginners and those who want a safe and effective experience to build a solid Pilates foundation.  The focus is on form and alignment to help you master the Pilates fundamentals so that you can get the most out of your workout as you become more advanced.  This class is ideal for all fitness levels and is easily modified for those with physical limitations.

Level 2
Intermediate Class

The Intermediate level classes are designed to explore more precise and dynamic exercises.  The class tempo is moderate and focuses on a steady class flow.  Intermediate exercises and coordinated movements are introduced with modifications and progressions to give you a more challenging workout.

Level 3
Advanced Class

The Advanced level classes are inspiring and uplifting.  They will fully challenge the body and mind.  This moderate to fast paced class incorporates quick transitions and introduces you to more advanced exercises and use of the apparatus.  Increased repetition, complex coordination, balance, and resistance create a dynamic challenge that will elevate your Pilates practice.
